Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent is a professor in history and sciences philosophy at the University of Paris 10. She is also a member of the Académie des Technologies.
She will give a conference on Ethics and nanotechnologies.

David M. Rasmussen is a professor at the Boston College and the author of many works on critic theory, contemporary ethics and political philosophy.
He will give a lecture on "conflict of modernity".

MESHS will be welcoming the pianist Tom Johnson and the mathematician Jean-Paul Delahaye on January, 17th 2011.
They will give a conference and a concert on Music and mathematics. Tom Johnson will be accompanied by five musicians (Christopher Alder, Steve Gibsy, Brians Parks, Samuel Vriezen, Michael Winter)

Tom Johnson is an american composer who has been working in Paris for 30 years.

Jean-Paul Delahaye is a mathematician by training. He is a professor of informatics at the University Lille 1
